Nestled in Jinja, at the borders of Lake Victoria and the Source of the Nile, you will discover this remarkable B&B boutique. Located in a safe and vibrant neighborhood, it is just a few minutes' walk from the famous Jinja Sailing Club and a 15-minute stroll to the Jinja Golf Club and Main Street. Jinja is the ideal destination in Uganda for an adventurous holiday, offering activities such as rafting, bungee jumping, mountain biking, and fishing on the lake.
Our boutique features 1 suite and 3 spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom, stylish design, and a view of Lake Victoria. The suite and one room include a balcony. A communal dining and living area, along with an outdoor deck, provides a cozy and secure home-like experience. The Jewel and the Lake is an adults-only B&B, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years. The maximum number of guests per room is 2.
The Jewel and the Lake offers a limited but exquisite menu exclusively for our guests. Dinner is served upon request between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. You can view the menu here.
Every morning, our staff delights you with a delicious breakfast made from fresh ingredients sourced from Uganda. Depending on the season, we serve fruits from our own garden, including avocado, mango, banana, and papaya. During the day, you can unwind in our garden, relax in one of our hammocks or seating areas, or enjoy the stunning view of the lake from the deck. Our staff is always available to ensure your needs are met.
In our B&B boutique, you will find a selection of local art, as well as self-made photographs showcasing the "Faces of Jinja."
